Associate Manager of Operations – 1st Shift

DEPARTMENT: Operations - Packaging

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting activities to allow Operations to operate safely, in compliance, and efficiently while supporting continuous improvements in those areas. This position is also responsible for ensuring effective employee relations as well as seeing that Operations operates to meet schedule attainment and absorption goals. This position is also responsible for managing direct reports.
Accountabilities
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, Corporate and other regulatory standards for quality and
safety of all areas of responsibility.
• Ensure processes are being improved for Safety, Compliance and Operational Efficiency.
• Ensure assigned tasks are being completed by due date.
• Maintain records of work completed and in process as well as results.
• Develop plans for Continuous Improvement Actions.
• Lead activities to implement Continuous Improvement activities.
Responsibilities
• Assist in developing project list.
• Be able to work on all three shifts as needed.
• Provide guidance for Operations as needed.
• Be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Develop training materials.
• Conduct training sessions.
• Perform other related duties as required & lead by example
• Attend and conduct meetings in Packaging Manager Absence.
• Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate degree with at least four years of OTC or pharmaceutical packaging experience
or a B.S. with at least two years of OTC or pharmaceutical packaging experience.
• Experience in an FDA regulated industry and a thorough functional understanding of
pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and cGMPs
• People Management/Supervision Experience required.
