Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours per week

Compensation: $135,000–$150,000 base salary

This role turns category, shopper, retailer, and point-of-sale data into clear recommendations that help Prestige and its retail partners grow. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and retailers to identify opportunities across assortment, product placement, pricing, distribution, promotions, and new item launches.

In This Role, You'll Get To

  • Build compelling, insight-driven selling stories that support retailer sell-in and key business initiatives.
  • Develop category reviews using category, brand, shopper, retailer, and new-item trends for Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Create customer-specific category presentations that support distribution, assortment, pricing, promotion, and product placement opportunities.
  • Deliver category reviews, ongoing sales reporting, and actionable recommendations to senior management and cross-functional partners.
  • Personally analyze category and shopper data to identify growth opportunities and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, retailers, and internal teams to support category growth initiatives and retailer-specific opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to business requests and ensure accurate information on products, programs, promotions, and category performance is provided.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination across departments; keep management informed of key activities, risks, and concerns.
  • Participate in meetings and cross-functional workstreams and complete reports, records, and documentation as needed.
  • Support Prestige's professional reputation by providing thoughtful, accurate, and well-researched category insights and recommendations.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience in category management, trade marketing, and/or national account sales.
  • Direct, hands-on category management experience, including personally analyzing category data and translating it into recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • CPG experience.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Circana or Nielsen POS data; experience using shopper and retailer data sources, including Numerator and retailer loyalty data.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and develop insight-driven recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of third-party and direct distribution channels, pricing policies, and promotional strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to managers, customers, retailers, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, technical, and regulatory information and communicate it clearly.
  • Ability to perform standard business calculations, including discounts, percentages, proportions, commissions, and other basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, including the ability to follow written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions and resolve issues involving multiple variables.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5% via car, plane, or rail.
  • Comfort working in a professional office environment with regular computer use and sitting, frequent speaking/hearing, occasional standing/walking/reaching/bending/crouching, and occasional lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work the hybrid schedule in the Tarrytown office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with Monday and Friday remote.

Preferred Qualification

  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience.
